History

The Catherine "Rusty" Foley and Zarco Guerrero Student art gallery was established in March 2020 to celebrate youth creative expression and artistic mastery at the Arizona Department of Education's Jefferson Building located at 1535 W. Jefferson Street Phoenix, AZ 85006.

Participate

Teachers, Student Groups, and Community Art Organizations are encouraged to participate in curating an exhibition for display at the Arizona Department of Education's Catherine "Rusty" Foley and Zarco Guerrero Student Gallery. If interested in participating please read the complete information packet.

2023 Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency Wed, Jun 29 2022

Submit your district or charter application for the 2022-2023 school year beginning July 15th! 

The Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency gives schools and districts the opportunity to honor arts students who demonstrate high levels of proficiency in the arts!

  • LEAs must first submit an application to ADE Arts Education July 15th‐September 15th.
  • Students complete a Seal of Arts Proficiency Pathway, capstone project and successfully graduate from an Arizona district public or charter school.
  • Arizona Diploma Seals are currently being considered for CCRI points for SY 22‐23!
