CTE Enrollment
CTE Course Enrollment is used to calculate grant funding, Carl D. Perkins Act performance measures, and to monitor program effectiveness. All CTE Course Enrollment is provided bi-annually in the CTE Data Portal by secondary school districts and by Career and Technical Education districts.
Instructions for uploading CTE Course Enrollment can be found in the CTE Data Portal User Guide or by clicking “Click here for instructions” on the Enrollment pages within the CTE Data Portal.
CTE Course Enrollment Upload Templates
All CTE Course Enrollment is uploaded into the CTE Data Portal using the templates linked below. The Non-Articulated and Articulated templates required a teacher’s Educator ID Number (EIN). You can use the Online Arizona Certification Information System (OACIS) website to search for a teacher’s EIN: OACIS.
2022 Enrollment Non-Articulated Template
Use this template to upload non-articulated course enrollment (course is taught at the school of record). This template requires the following data for each student enrolled in a CTE course:
- CTDS
- Term (semester)
- CTE Program Number
- CTE Course Number
- Local Course Title
- Teacher's Educator ID (EIN)
- Teacher's email address
- Class Period
- Student's Unique ID Number (SUID), formerly knows as SAISID number
- Student's Birthdate
- Number of Credits Earned
- Student Type
2022 Enrollment Articulated Template
Use this template to upload articulated course enrollment (course is taught at a school other than the school of record). Do not use this template if the course is taught at a Community College (by a community college teacher) or a CTED at Postsecondary site.
This template requires the following data for each student enrolled in a CTE course:
- CTDS
- Term
- Program Number
- Course Number
- Local Course Title
- Educator ID (EIN)
- Teacher email address
- Period
- Articulated CTDS
- SUID
- Student Birthdate
- Credits Earned
- Student Type
2022 Postsecondary Articulated Template
Use this template to upload articulated course enrollment where the course is taught by a community college teacher or a CTED at a Postsecondary site. Please see list of eligible postsecondary CTED sites under "Additional Resources" below.
This template requires the following data for each student enrolled in a CTE course:
- CTDS
- Term
- Program Number
- Course Number
- Local Course Title
- Teacher First Name
- Teacher Last Name
- Teacher email address
- Period
- Articulated CTDS
- SUID
- Student Birthdate
- Credits Earned
- Student Type
2022 Enrollment CTED (Central + Community College) Template
For CTEDs Only: Use this template to upload course enrollment for CTEDs. Districts and charter schools should not use this template to upload any course enrollment into the CTE Data Portal.
This template requires the following data for each student enrolled in a CTE course:
- CTDS
- Term
- Program Number
- Course Number
- Local Course Title
- Educator's ID
- Teacher First Name
- Teacher Last Name
- Teacher Email Address
- Period
- SUID
