What are Associated Goods?
For students with disabilities on the program, Associated Goods may include computer hardware or technological devices that assist in accessing educational materials or services and that are associated with the qualified student’s needs.
How can I get an Associated Good approved?
Parents that are seeking to use Program funds for an associated good shall provide to the Department the special education course of study, service or educational need that the good or service is associated with.
What documentation is ESA looking for?
Sufficient documentation includes special education services or needs outlined in documentation provided during the most recent evaluation by a school district, charter school or independent evaluator or a recommendation from a qualified special education professional outlining the special education use or need for the particular good.
A qualified special education professional includes service providers with valid credentials, including those qualified special education professional providers who are registered within ClassWallet.
