Updated Aggregate Expenditures Reports Posted

Updated Budget Aggregate Expenditures Reports for all school districts have been posted to the School Finance website.

ARS 15-911 requires a report on the aggregate expenditures of local revenues as defined in article IX, section 21, subsection (4) of the Arizona Constitution by November 1st each year and, in the event that the legislature does not authorize excess expenditures by March 5, requires the calculation of the amount by which each school district must reduce expenditures of local revenues.

School Finance has now calculated the amount by which each school district would be required to reduce its expenditures in the event that the legislature does not authorize excess expenditures. Based on original school district budgets and budget revisions submitted by February 17, 2021, the aggregate expenditures of local revenues no longer exceed the limitation and the amount by which school districts would be required to reduce expenditures is zero. The updated BUDG-AGD reports for all school districts have been posted to the School Finance website
