The new SDER user interface has been upgraded to permit the submission of social security numbers as Employee ID numbers. The first five digits of all submitted Employee ID numbers will be masked with an asterisk both in downloaded files and in error messages displayed in the SDER system. If you need to correct errors after submitting your file, please correct the errors on your original or most recently submitted file, save, and resubmit it. Downloading a previously submitted file from the SDER user interface will show all Employee ID numbers masked and the submission of a file with masked Employee ID numbers will result in an error. If you've already submitted your SDER data and have no errors, there is no need to resubmit the file. Please note that charter districts are not required to submit SDER data.
