Summer 2022 Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT)

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) in partnership with the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has been approved to administer the Summer Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) in Arizona, authorizing DES to issue $391 per student reported by local schools as meeting P-EBT eligibility requirements. School Food Authorities (SFAs) had until October 5, 2022 to report student data to ADE within the CNP P-EBT Portal via ADEConnect. This data was sent to DES to issue payments. DES plans to begin issuing payments mid-November.
