State Cooperative Purchasing Program

The Office of Digital Teaching and Learning is exploring the needs of Arizona’s local education agencies for devices and services in K-12s. All LEAs are invited to participate in the Arizona Cooperative Program, a group effort to drive savings in the purchase of devices plus services on those devices.

In the summer of 2022, the Office of Digital Teaching & Learning administered an “Interest Form” survey to LEAs, to gauge interest and need in working together to leverage the State of Arizona “Computer Hardware and Support” contracts. This initiative aims to combine purchasing volume of Arizona LEAs to drive down costs for computers and related services.

More than 150 districts and charters in Arizona completed the interest form. This work continues, and LEA participation is needed!

If you’d like to help us make sure that the needs of local education agencies are well represented in the State Cooperative Program, please email us at [email protected]

TrustEd Apps Training for Administrators Mon, Oct 3 2022

In this workshop, Arizona LEAs will be trained in the foundations of student data privacy and accessibility and how to utilize a rubric to vet applications. Other criteria for vetting applications will be incorporated into the training including the following: interoperability with existing applications, teacher and student ease of use, and instructional relevance and purpose. Using the TrustEd Apps Management Suite (TAMS) from 1EdTech, the Arizona LEAs will collaborate on the best practices for sharing the use of digital learning tools and resources with other educators in their schools and districts and will learn strategies for providing professional development in digital learning for their colleagues.
