2019 ELP Standards Series - Cohort F

This is a series of three virtual and synchronous sessions. It is expected that participants will participate in all three sessions in the series. Register once for all three sessions in the series.

SESSION 1: ELPS Foundational Understanding 

OVERVIEW: Participants of this interactive virtual professional learning session will learn how shifts in the design of the 2019 ELPS align to an updated understanding of how language is developed as well as to AZ policy.

SESSION 2: Using the ELPS to Design Targeted ELD Instruction 

OVERVIEW: Participants of this interactive professional learning session will learn how intentionally-designed integrated ELD instruction uses the ELPS to support the development of English proficiency and the language necessary to be successful in school.

SESSION 3: Using the ELPS to Design Integrated ELD Instruction 

OVERVIEW: Participants of this interactive professional learning session will learn how intentionally-designed integrated ELD instruction uses the ELPS to support the development of English proficiency and the language necessary to be successful in school.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration for this event must be completed in the Event Management System (EMS). Interested participants must have an ADE Connect account to complete the registration. Section registration for this virtual training is capped at 200 participants. Once the registration limit has been reached, EMS will open 10 spots on the waitlist. In the event a registered participant cancels their registration, wait listers will be notified via EMS that a spot has become available.   Please ensure the accuracy of your email address when registering as it will be used to send course information as well as the link to join the session.
