The Arizona Department of Education and the Committee of Practitioners (COP) are excited to announce the 2018-2019 Arizona Exemplary Title I School Programs Award nomination application is now open. This Title I recognition program is based on the Six Principles of Effective Schools and honors schools that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding results in one of the following categories:
- Effective Leadership
- Effective Teachers and Instruction
- Effective Organization of Time
- Effective Curriculum
- Conditions, Climate and Culture
- Family and Community Engagement
To be selected to receive the 2019 Arizona Exemplary Title I Programs Award, schools need to display outstanding achievement in one of the areas above, as demonstrated by information provided in the online application and data validated by an onsite visiting team.
