That is basically the mission of Mexicayotl - we are an elementary school with approximately 80% poverty rate. Our entire program is designed to respond to the academic, social, emotional and mental health needs of all students and particularly those students from low-income families, students of color, ELL, students with special needs, etc. We use a hybrid teaching plan where each class is led by a certified teacher who provides instruction and has school work done on a computer program.
