The ADE Information Technology Division is committed to supporting Arizona’s education transformation. ADE IT developed technology for the Arizona Education Learning and Accountability System (AELAS), which includes the highly innovative AzEDS student data system.
ADE's full-service “IT shop” also provides ADE's program areas with specialized application development, data management tools and comprehensive desktop support. In addition, ADE IT is responsible for the Help Desk ticketing system, ADEConnect single-sign-on and ADE's Event Management System, as well as for a bevy of other applications and projects that schools and other external users utilize daily.
IT Projects and Initiatives
The Arizona Education Learning and Accountability System is Arizona’s comprehensive technology initiative to provide all levels of the educational community with the tools and data necessary to support education transformation, academic growth and accountability, while dramatically reducing costs.
- AzEDS — Based on the widely adopted CEDS guidelines, AzEDS is the data standard for Arizona’s education system.
- ADEConnect — ADEConnect provides secure, one-click access to ADE online tools
