These funds and the ESSER III plan for Open Doors will support mental health services for students by hiring a social worker/counselor to address mental health needs brought up by the pandemic. This position will also address needs of families and students with special needs such as low income, students of color, and children with disabilities. The Director of Instructional Support will work with teachers to assure that students who have been disproportionally impacted by the pandemic will have their academic needs met through assessment and differentiating instruction.
