The Preschool Outcomes Reporting Guidance has been revised to provide clarity on what data needs to be submitted as well as when the data needs to be submitted for preschool students that are receiving special education services.

FY 2026 October 1 Data Collection Application will open October 2, 2025

Annually, the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is required to report special education data to the federal government. The October 1 Data Collection (ODC) is part of that process and is required by all Public Education Agencies (PEAs).

We are pleased to announce the release of the free Self-Regulation Curriculum (K–12) for Arizona educators!

In partnership with ADE/ESS, the College and Career Competencies (CCCs) Project is offering free professional learning opportunities that will help you build self-regulation, confidence, persistence, and resilience in your students.

ESS/PSM is excited to announce that in-person regional training opportunities will be available this school year. These trainings are free for participants and will cover two key topics: completing a mock student file review and accessing resources for crafting a compliant Prior Written Notice.
