Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The purpose of this federally funded program is to provide children ages 18 and younger with nutritional meals during the summer while school is out of session.
The first step towards participating in the SFSP program is to complete this SFSP Prospective Entity Form for Community Organizations. Operator Responsibilities
SFSP operators must be able to assume responsibility for the entire administration of the Program. As a sponsor, an organization at a minimum will:
For organizations not yet ready to take on the responsibilities required of an operator, participation as a site under an existing operator is the best option. This is the most effective way to prepare an organization to become an operator in future years.
