The School Safety Unit supports, promotes, and enhances safe and effective learning environments. Our vision is to be a leading force in promoting safe and healthy schools through strong partnerships and collaborative efforts, committed to prevention-focused initiatives that foster a culture of safety, wellness, and resilience.
Who are we?
Our Unit is comprised of the School Safety Program and School Safety Partnerships and Health Programs. Together, we work collaboratively to create and maintain safe, supportive, and healthy learning environments. By integrating safety initiatives with health and wellness strategies, we ensure a comprehensive approach to school safety. Our team partners with schools, families, law enforcement, and community organizations to promote prevention, preparedness, and positive outcomes across all campuses. We are committed to fostering environments where students feel secure, supported, and empowered to thrive.
