The Transportation Routes submission window is now open.

Per A.R.S. § 15-922, districts must submit transportation route data within 12 days of their 100th day (or 200th day where applicable). Transportation Routes is available in the “Transportation and Vehicle Inventory” ADEConnect application until 04/01/2026. Vehicle Inventory will be available on 05/01/2026.

FY 2026 Prop 123 (State Aid Supplement) Payment 1

The $75 million additional funding provided by Arizona Senate Bill 1735 for FY 2026 will be distributed in two payments: $37.5 million by December 26, 2025, and $37.5 million in June 2026. Individual school district and charter allocations are based on the share of statewide weighted attending Average Daily Membership (ADM). The first $37.5 million payment was calculated based on the same ADM that was used for the FY26 December Classroom Site Fund (CSF) payment.

The file linked below will show the first payment amount and total estimated FY 2026 Prop 123 per LEA. Districts are listed first by county, followed by charters alphabetically.

FRPL, DAA, and CAA One Time Funding

FRPL, DAA, and CAA One Time Funding

The first payment of the Free Reduced Priced Lunch (FRPL), District Additional Assistance (DAA), and Charter Additional Assistance (CAA) will be appropriated by Friday, December 26th. These one-time supplemental payments will each be split into two payments- one in late December and another in June. Please view this Hot Topic for more information.

Please see the attached spreadsheets for each payment at the bottom of this Hot Topic for information about the estimated annual payment amounts and the first payment amounts.

For school districts, these funds can be allocated to either the Maintenance and Operations fund 001 (M&O) and/or Unrestricted Capital fund 610 (UNR).

FY 2025 Maintenance and Operations (M&O) and Unrestricted Capital (UNR/UCO) budget balance carryforward amounts are reflected in the FY 2026 November BUDG-25 Report.

BUDG-75 reports for all school districts have been posted to the School Finance website. FY 2025 BUDG-75 reports have been calculated using the later of FY 2025 BSA55 SRC or 15-915 data.  As a reminder, districts automatically receive a budget balance carry-forward adjustment for any under-budgeted RCL in M&O due to the FY 2025 statewide recalculation.

You’ve been invited to an online session: Understanding Non-Fundable Intervals

Beginning FY 2026, the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) implemented updates to how non-fundable intervals (NFI) are calculated in AzEDS. In this session, you will learn the criteria for an NFI, which is generated when a student has both an "absence threshold" and an "attendance block". We will also review the AzEDS Portal reports you can use to ensure data accuracy.

FY 2026 Expenditure Budget (BUDG-25) Verification Letters

FY 2026 Expenditure Budget (BUDG-25) Verification Letters

In accordance with A.R.S. §15-905(E), the FY 2026 BUDG-25 Budget Verification Letters are now published. Letters are based on the most recent BUDG-25 reports, which have been calculated using the October BSA 55 information.  These letters contain the official notification if a FY 2026 December revision is required as of the date of the letter.

  • District BUDG-25 Budget Verification Letters and District BSA-55 reports are available to download from the School Finance website.

The budget verification letters are addressed to the district's governing board in care of the district superintendent. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the district to inform the district's governing board members accordingly. 

Reminder: the district's budgeted FY 2026 K-3 Reading amount is added to the district's BSL and RCL until the district is approved for the K-3 Reading support level weight by the State Board, or December 31st, whichever occurs first.
