Special Education Directors,
Please join us for the next episode of the Thursday Afternoon LEarning Series, or TALES, on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 2:45 p.m.- 4:15 p.m., when our ESS Secondary Transition Team presents, “Transition Planning for Students with Complex Support Needs.” We will explore unique opportunities to think outside the box when it comes to employment, postsecondary education and training, and independent living. Join Andi Asel, ESS Lead Transition Specialist, for a look at best practice strategies for assessment, postsecondary goals, and activities that will lead to a meaningful postsecondary life for your students with complex needs. We will also consider suggestions for implementing these strategies while students are learning from home.
Participant registration is first-come, first-served and is not limited to special educators – feel free to forward. Please click here to register. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Questions regarding this TALES professional learning opportunity can be sent to the ESS Transition Inbox.
