Teach Again

Thinking of returning to the classroom? It is easier than you think.

Over the last couple of years, the Governor and the Arizona Legislature have taken steps to increase funding for K-12 education. This has allowed school districts to meet the needs of their districts through various avenues, including an increase in pay, adding additional positions, and improving school infrastructure, to name a few.

The work that the Governor and the Arizona Legislature has completed has had a positive impact on improving the teacher shortage. However, there is still a need for qualified teachers. Have you thought about returning to the classroom? If you miss working with the students of Arizona, now is the time to return.

There are several options to help you return to the classroom. Please select the option that describes your situation the best:

  • Documentation of required clock hours of professional development.  Review the Renewal Application for a list of qualified professional development activities.
  • A completed renewal application and the appropriate fee. The fee is $20 per certificate. There is no additional fee for approved areas or endorsements attached to your certificate.
