The 2022 Arizona Assessments Conference is being hosted by the Arizona Department of Education’s (ADE’s) Assessment Section in collaboration and partnership with ADE’s K-12 Standards and Accountability & Research Sections.

This conference will highlight the deep connections between Standards, Assessment, and Accountability for LEAs as we all work collaboratively to improve outcomes for students. Just as this work goes beyond administering tests, knowing the academic standards, and receiving a letter grade, so will the professional development opportunities throughout this 2½ day conference. Through sessions presented by both national and local experts, we will explore the deep connections at the district, school, and classroom level between the academic standards, Arizona’s state assessments, such as AASA, AzSCI, ACT, ACT Aspire, AZELLA, and MSAA, and accountability data.

Sessions will go beyond updates and test administration tasks and will be designed to strengthen foundations and make connections for participants. The target audience for this conference includes Arizona’s school and district leaders; instructional coaches; Curriculum, Assessment, and Accountability leaders; EL Coordinators; and Special Education leaders.
