High School Assessments

The Achievement Testing District Test Coordinator is responsible for ELA, Math, and Science assessments as well as the Menu of Assessments.

 

 

ACT Aspire

ACT Aspire is the statewide achievement test for students in grade 9 (Cohort 2025).

  • Standard Administration (Paper): March 1, 2022
  • Accommodations Administration (Paper): March 1-4 & March 7-11, 2022
  • Standard & ACT-Authorized Accommodations (Online): March 1-3 & March 8-10, 2022

  • Standard Administration (Paper): April 5, 2022
  • Accommodations Administration (Paper): April 5-8 & April 11-15, 2022
  • Standard & ACT-Authorized Accommodations (Online): April 5-7 & April 12-14, 2022

Schedule of Events

Disclaimer: College Board recently announced that they will no longer be offering the writing essay as part of the SAT for States. ADE is attempting to finalize the 2021-2022 contract with College Board for SAT/PSAT. However, if College Board fails to sign the contract, then LEAs that select SAT/PSAT as part of Menu of Assessments will automatically be reverted to ACT/ACT Aspire as the statewide assessment. LEAs will be updated as soon as we have more information.

Grade 9 - PSAT

Grade 11 - SAT

Any LEA that is interested in administering SAT to Grade 11 (Cohort 2023) students and PSAT to Grade 9 (Cohort 2025) students in Spring 2022 in lieu of ACT and ACT Aspire, the new statewide high school assessments, must complete and submit the notification survey by July 1, 2021, 5:00pm MST. A separate submission form is required for each LEA. Superintendent or designee approval is also required.

The Testing Inbox should be your first contact concerning ACT Aspire and ACT questions. All questions concerning test administration, students required to test, test schedules, test improprieties, and any issues that arise during test administration should be sent to the inbox.
