Girls Who Code's FREE Summer Immersion Program

  • Wed, Mar 17 2021

What is SIP?

  • SIP is a free 2-week virtual introductory computer science program with staggered rounds throughout the summer for students to explore HTML, CSS and Javascript, and also interact with industry leaders like AT&T, Goldman Sachs, SnapChat, and Disney. There will also be a self-paced option to participate at any time in the summer if they need more flexibility in their schedule!
  • Participation is 100% free, and we provide need-based stipends of up to $300 and tech support for those who qualify.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be current 9-11th grade students (rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors) who identify as female, non-binary, or gender non-conforming.
  • Participants can be beginners or already have some computer science experience.
