SSP Grantees Office Hours:

Office hours is provided to:

Connect and build relationships with SSP grantees
Provide our grantees with resources and professional development opportunities that will support them in their role
Allow SSP grantees to ask questions to the ADE team

Office Hours is 8:30 am - 9:30 am on the First Friday of each month

SSP CSW Coffee Chats:

CSW Coffee Chats is provided to create a space for building a community of practice, collaborating, and resource sharing for the School Safety Program School Counselors and School Social Workers.

COFFEE chats is 8:30 am - 9:30 am on the Second Friday of the month

SSP CSW Electives:

The School Safety Program offers optional trainings throughout the school year for Counselors and Social Workers where we have guest speakers talk about topics and provide resources related to work of Counselors and Social Workers.

CSW Electives is 8:30 Am - 10:00 Am on the fourth Friday of the month

The School Safety Program is offering optional trainings for District Admin, Site Admin, and Awarded Positions. Here are some upcoming trainings you can sign up for:

CHILDHELP Mandatory Reporting General Training:

Register for trainings by clicking here

-FREE training that will take approximately one hour and 45 minutes to complete

-Training Objectives include: Discussing advocacy centers, impacts of child abuse and neglect on child and society, discuss mandatory reporter statutes, provide contact information to law enforcement and Department of Child Safety (DCS), and review the Arizona Multidisciplinary Protocol for the Investigation of Child Abuse (not including tribal areas). This training can be tailored to Tribal Laws, but please indicate to the trainer that you work with students that live on tribal lands, so that she may cover these laws.
