The School Safety Program is offering optional trainings for District Admin, Site Admin, and Awarded Positions. Here are some upcoming trainings you can sign up for:
CHILDHELP Mandatory Reporting General Training:
-FREE training that will take approximately one hour and 45 minutes to complete
-Training Objectives include: Discussing advocacy centers, impacts of child abuse and neglect on child and society, discuss mandatory reporter statutes, provide contact information to law enforcement and Department of Child Safety (DCS), and review the Arizona Multidisciplinary Protocol for the Investigation of Child Abuse (not including tribal areas). This training can be tailored to Tribal Laws, but please indicate to the trainer that you work with students that live on tribal lands, so that she may cover these laws.
CHILDHELP Mandatory Reporting Train the Trainer (TTT):
Train the Trainer (TTT): Helps build and expand in-house expertise and capabilities to offer Mandated Reporter Training
-FREE training that will take approximately 3 hours to complete
-Upon completion of the TTT, participants will be able to train other staff at their school
