Summary of Requirements

  1. In-person AZPSS Professional Development to at least 70% of staff and administrators. Schools may choose between their nearest School Liaison Program Manager or use ADE's presentation to meet this requirement.     PD Slide Deck for Staff    Staff - Activity Scenarios

  2. Designate one employee with an appropriate background as the primary Point of Contact (POC)

  3. The POC will:   
  • Complete the necessary training
  • Oversee the school's AZPSS program & student mentors
  • Update the school's AZPSS website
  • Organize a patriotic event each school year
  • Track the number of participants & mentors

Completed applications will be sent to the ADE K12 Military Community Liaison.

Renewals may be submit an application 30 days before expiration.
 AZPSS Application      New Application window (September 1 to May 1)

AZPSS Report Template  Reports are due by June 30 of each school year.

Designated schools will be advertised on ADE's website and are valid for two years.
