Life is ever-changing, and transitioning or separating from the service may add even more daunting challenges. Ensuring your child's school understands the unique needs of military-connected students need not be difficult. Schools designated as Purple Star Schools have resources available to help highly mobile students succeed.
The Arizona Department of Education is not affiliated with or endorses any specific resource listed. This information has been cultivated to help military-connected, highly mobile students succeed in their K12 education.
The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is the national advocate for Purple Star Schools. It provides states with guidance and support, as well as numerous other resources for the military-connected community.

AZPSS Training | Self-paced modules highlight various issues military-connected students may face and provide additional information to support military-connected families. (A requirement for all AZPSS schools) |

1. Northern Arizona

2. Western Arizona

4. Eastern Arizona
Includes: Safford, Thatcher, Pima, Ft. Thomas, Clifton, Morenci, Bisbee, Sierra Vista, Tombstone, Wilcox, Benson, Douglas, Elfrida, Naco
