- The Substitute certificate entitles the holder to substitute in the temporary absence of a regular contract teacher. The certificate is valid for 6 years and is renewable. Requirements may be subject to change and are fully referenced in the Arizona Revised Statutes and Administrative Code R7-2-601, R7-2-607, and R7-2-614(B).
The International Teaching certificate is issued to teachers from foreign countries who are contracted through a teacher exchange program authorized by federal statute and who are authorized to work in the United States under a J-1 or Q-1 visa. The certificate is valid for the length of the holder’s J1 or Q-1 visa and may be extended to align with the date of an extended J-1 or Q-1 visa, not to exceed 12 years. Requirements may be subject to change and are fully referenced in the Arizona Revised Statutes and Administrative Code R-2-601, R7-2-607, and R7-2-614 (I).
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) K-12 Certificates authorize the holder to teach one of the following CTE programs, as indicated on the certificate: Agriculture, Business and Marketing, Education and Training, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health Careers, and Industrial and Emerging Technologies. Additional approved areas or endorsements may not be added to this certificate EXCEPT for the Structured English Immersion (SEI), English as a Second Language (ESL), Bilingual, Cooperative Education, and Driver's Education endorsements. Certificates are valid for 12 years and are renewable. Requirements may be subject to change and are fully referenced in the Arizona Revised Statutes and Administrative Code R7-2-601, R7-2-607, R7-2-612, R7-2-612.01, and R7-2-621.

- School Counselors: This Certificate authorizes the holder as a School Counselor in grades PreK-12.
- Psychologists: This Certificate is required for personnel whose primary responsibility is in the role of a school psychologist providing services that include but are not limited to the duties of student psychoeducational assessment, therapeutic consultation and intervention, and involvement in the process of determination of a student’s disabilities or disorders.
- Social Workers: This certificate is optional but may be required by the local governing boards. This certificate is valid for 12 years and is renewable.
- Speech-Language Pathologists: This Certificate authorizes the holder as a speech-language pathologist for grades PreK-12.
