The Academic Achievement team is excited to announce that Arizona's 2026 Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Conference will be held June 9-11, 2026, at Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Conference Center.

Our annual ESEA Conference is dedicated to empowering Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in building effective federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) programs. The purpose of the conference is to EQUIP our participants with the support and practical tools they need to leverage federal funding to drive meaningful and measurable outcomes for students. The 2026 ESEA Conference will feature targeted training sessions, personalized technical assistance, and intentional collaboration opportunities, helping LEAs implement federal programs that not only comply with requirements but also make a real difference in schools and their communities. 

Target Audience:

Federal Grants Administrators, School Administrators & Instructional Leaders, Business Office State, Other District Office Employees, and Title I Teachers.

Cost:

$425 per person (Daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments Tuesday-Thursday are included in the registration cost).

  • If you need assistance registering for the conference, please email [email protected].

How do I know if I am registered correctly?

  • You can see if you're registered in your "Active Courses" on your APLD dashboard. Once logged in, you can also view invoices by clicking "Invoices" from the menu located on the left side of the dashboard.

 

What meals will be provided during the conference?

  • Tuesday, June 9, 2026
    • Breakfast Buffet - Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Meat, Potatoes, Sliced Fruit, Bread, Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice
    • Lunch - Roasted Chicken Marsala with Seasonal Vegetables, Orzo, and Marsala Cream Sauce
  • Wednesday, June 10, 2026
    • Breakfast Buffet - Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Meat, Potatoes, Sliced Fruit, Bread, Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice
    • Lunch - Marinated Grilled Flank Steak with Mashed Potatoes, Au Poivre Sauce, Vegetable, House Salad, and Rolls

What if I have a dietary restriction?

  • Please be sure to update your dietary restrictions in your APLD account. You can update your account by clicking “Edit Account” from the menu located on the left side of the dashboard.

 

How many sessions are available for me to chose from?

  • We have approximately 140 sessions to choose from over the 3 days of the conference. There are about 14 different sessions to choose from for each breakout session time on the schedule. 

 

How can I sign up for sessions?

  • Download the Conference App: To maximize your conference experience, we highly encourage you to download the conference application titled, "Guidebook". Once downloaded, you will find the "2026 ESEA Conference" guide. The Guidebook app is available for download on both iOS and Android platforms. 

 

Where can I park?

  • The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Conference Center has a parking garage on-site. For the duration of the conference, the garage fee is waived for all conference participants. If you prefer valet parking, this service is available for $26.99 per day. 

 

Will there be a lot of walking?

  • We have access to the entire conference center, nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space, with sessions on both the Lobby level and Lower Lobby level. You will have access to both stairs and elevators. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you travel from one session to another.
