School Finance regularly publishes reports to detail payment collections and summarize data submitted by Local Education Agencies (LEAs). Please contact [email protected] if you need assistance finding a specific report.

 Budget Reports and Submitted Files

 Classroom Site Fund Reports (CSF)

 County Apportionment Reports

Payment reports for counties that show the allocation to individual school districts for funds that are distributed through counties.

List of active charter districts and school districts that are eligible to receive state aid.

 Financial and Compliance Audit Reports

ARS 15-914 requires that financial and compliance audit reports be submitted to ADE and that the department make the reports available on its website. The files below contain links to the reports that have been submitted to ADE.

 October Enrollment Counts 

October Enrollment Counts can be found at the Research and Evaluation page. These reports reflect the number of students enrolled on the October 1 reporting date for which student data has passed data validation requirements.

 Open Enrollment Report 

ARS 15-816.01 requires that ADE publish an annual report of the open enrollment participation rate by school district, school and county and certain related data. 

 School District Employee Reports (SDER)

School District Employee Report (SDER) data is used to calculate Teacher Experience Index (TEI) pursuant to A.R.S. § 15-941. The TEI calculation may have the effect of increasing budget limits and equalization assistance (state aid) in the subsequent year.

 SFOB Attending Average Daily Membership by School

This report shows attending Average Daily Membership (ADM) by school and was created for use by the School Facilities Oversight Board and others.

 Student Counts and State Aid Reports

Reports that detail annual equalization assistance and monthly state aid payment calculations. 

For FY2021 and prior State Aid Memos and Payment Reports, and Data Reports used in the calculation of State Aid (FY2021 and prior).

For FY2022-Present State Aid Memos and Payment Reports, and Data Reports used in the calculation of State Aid (FY2022 - Present).

 Submitted Annual Financial Reports

 Superintendent's Annual Reports

The Superintendent's Annual Report contains a broad summary of statewide financial and student data pursuant to ARS 15-255. Earlier versions of the Superintendent's Annual Report are available online through the State Library.

 SAFR Digital Data

The Superintendent's Annual Report digital data is a Microsoft Access database that contains the underlying values used to compile the SAFR for fiscal year 2006 through present and is updated after the report is published each year.
