Information Regarding CPR Legislation
CPR instruction is not a graduation requirement. The requirement is that LEAs provide each student CPR instruction at least once in high-school, however, there is not a provision saying that if a student does not receive the training they are prohibited from graduating and there is an opt-out provision. There is also specific guidance regarding online school. Download the CPR Legislation
